Text Box: Description: This is a short-term, Young Entrepreneur workshop, to be held over 3 weekends, Saturdays and Sundays, 6 hours each day for a total of 36 hours.  It is designed to provide high school students with the basic tools on how to start a small business.  Some of the topics covered include, but are not limited to:  ideas for a teen business, benefits of owning your own business, developing a business plan, looking at legal issues, and getting financing.  Upon completion of this workshop, students will be awarded a Certificate of Completion by LA City College.
